The Lendvay Ensemble is an exciting ensemble at home in a wide variety of musical genres. Taking its name from its founder, the well-known Hungarian violinist József Lendvay. The international musicians who have joined the ensemble include violinist Letizia Sciarone, violist Julia Dinerstein, and cellist Katja Dirven-Didychenko. The chemistry, warmth and excitement of their playing has garnered acclaim from audiences throughout the Netherlands and abroad.
Flexibility and passion are the keys to their success. The Lendvay Ensemble performs in various combinations ranging from duos to full string quintet, with repertoire embracing an expansive range of music with Hungarian spice. The Lendvay Ensemble is pleased to offer programs based on wide-ranging thematic choices.
